Sac-Anime Summer 2009 Day Two

Some Tales cosplayers outside of the entrance to the convention on Day Two of Sacramento's summer convention. This day, I believe was better than the other two, well at least for me anyway. Read on!
A beautiful shot of Toys Logic's area in the vendor room. We can see some Nendoroids and Figma here. I bought Kureha, and Mana bought Pastel Ink from Moetan.
I'm happy to announce that I was able to speak with Toys Logic's Owner in a short interview below:
He really liked One Piece a lot, and afterward we talked about his trips to this year's wonderfest, and his experiences at Comike. We also had a short discussion about Kyoto Animation, and asked myself and friends about our favorite series. A very nice guy, and a vendor who knows his beans about the items he sells.

Couldn't resist the Konata on the right...
Just beneath those, we had some more great figures.
Was extremely close in buying this Rei...the face! T_T
If you didn't see my vendor's room walkthrough in the Day One article, you may wanna check it out:
Meeting up with some of Mana's friends...wait...something's wrong with this picture...
Mana and her friends had given in to the 4-chan meme of wearing V masks from the V For Vendetta movie...when one puts it on, they become an, "Anonymous."
Luckily, I was able to get an interview with them, and ask them some questions about the convention. Check it out below...and please...don't kill ducks:
Picked up this great Toradora! fan from the vendor's area.
The back of it has just Shana on it though.
Vendor's truck loaded with anime goods unloading near the back of the hotel.
An anonymous Zoro or something...I have no idea...lol.
Mana and I stopped by a nearby pizza place for some awesome pizza!
Looks like Mikuru wants some...?
And at that pizza place, is where I got to meet up with DJ Sandman! (A rare occasion when you see me with my hair pushed back...and very tired.)
He's a really nice fellow, and played some great hard trance at the Sac-Anime rave the night before. Here's his music page on Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/rrdjsandman
The Anon's outside by the Itasha.
Mysterious hotel staff...wait!
Back in the vendor's room, I buy a Haruhi poster from man-maid!
Some Geass and K-ON! cosplay.
More figure goodness.
The beautiful Koi pond outside.
Here we can see some swimming around.
Nagato! O_O It's Ed on the right! I'm sure he really didn't mean to show up twice in the background...(inside joke).
Mana's friends had picked up these adorable Melissa figures.
I decided to interview some other fans to hear their say about the con.
Interview with the fellow who always shows up in my pictures - Ed:
Here we have a short Interview with Mana at Sac-Anime Summer 2009, who I've mentioned before at Run Around Kazu. Mana is a talented artist, gamer, and amatuer fashion designer, as well as being an otaku.
In the interview we learn that she loves the vendor's room/dealer's hall, doesn't care much for the panels, and is driven to conventions to have fun with friends:
Also got to speak with these Vocaloid cosplayers, who seem to appear at more cons than Sac-Anime:
This little guy was actually breakdancing outside. O_o
And his friend too.
Was also happy to meet up with friend, and professional photographer, Valerie Bassi, known for professionally shooting con photos, as well as other events around Cali. (Oh god my hair was screwed up that day XD)
And, finally last but not least we have Jason Dube! I actually ran into Jason a couple times during the convention. Jason is a really friendly guy, and a talented comic artist. Check out his page here: http://www.myspace.com/scatteredcomics
And that pretty much wraps everything up!
Cept' for the Anonymous PB&J time...
I'll be setting up my Flickr Pro very soon, which will feature all of these photos and some extras that were unused in these articles. Feel free to check it out soon on my Flickr page, and if you'd like to keep updated about my articles and my work within social media networks, follow my twitter, which you can find at the very top right next to Reika!
I'd also like to say, that I'll be doing two extra special articles related to Sac-Anime, like I did with FanimeCon09. There will be an in depth loot review, as well as an entire article dedicated to the Itasha that appeared at Sac-Anime, with loads of big quality pictures to enjoy.
Thanks for reading my latest convention photo article, run around with me again sometime!
